JKA Vancouver Graphic Design Project

 

Calling all artists!

Would you like to use your creativity to take JKA Vancouver to the next level? Do you want to learn how to do graphic design and website building? If your answer is “yes” and “yes”, keep reading!

I need help with four graphic design projects:

1. a logo
2. a flier
3. a t-shirt design
4. website development

The plan is to work on these four projects from October until the end of December. Once I know which students are interested, I will break them up into mini TEAMS of 2-3 members. Students will work independent for no less than one work block per week. In addition to this, they will meet for GROUP and TEAM meetings. Here’s a tentative schedule:

Approximate total time commitment:	15-20 hours (including weekly independent work blocks)

 

The requirements for participating in this graphic design group are:

1. students have a computer
2. are able to devote no less than forty-five minutes per week on group tasks
3. have weekly communication with their TEAM members

The above meeting dates are tentative as we have to find times that work for everyone. Although in-person is preferred for our GROUP meetings, the Zoom option is also available if needed.

All of us will bring what we know about graphic design and art to these projects. And parents, if you have any expertise in these areas, feel free to share your knowledge with us. You can call or email me, or even come to one of our GROUP meetings.
